Platinum Sports 2025/2026 Terms and Conditions
This policy outlines the responsibilities of Platinum Sports, parents/guardians, and swimmers. By enrolling in our programme, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Platinum Sports Agrees To:
Qualified Coaches
Provide highly skilled and certified coaches with extensive experience in teaching swimmers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our coaches are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment.
Water Safety
Ensure that every swimmer is informed about the three fundamental rules of water safety before the start of their lessons. These rules are designed to promote awareness and minimize risks during pool activities.
Client Agrees To:
Payment
Pay the full amount for the term upfront, prior to the first scheduled lesson. This ensures your booking is confirmed in coaches' schedules for the full duration of the term.
Health and Safety
Parents/guardians must notify Platinum Sports in writing of any medical or physical conditions that may impact the swimmer’s safety or performance during lessons.
The pool provided must be clean, well-maintained, and safe for conducting lessons. Platinum Sports reserves the right to postpone or cancel lessons if conditions are deemed unsafe.
General Policies:
Make-Up Classes
Clients are entitled to a maximum of two make-up classes per term, which must be scheduled and completed within that same term.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a class without penalty.
For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, Platinum Sports will do its very best to accommodate a rescheduling request, subject to coach availability. If rescheduling is not possible, the lesson will be forfeited.
Medical-Related Cancellations
If a swimmer is unable to attend lessons due to a medical condition, the affected sessions may be frozen upon submission of a doctor's note at the time of cancellation. Lessons will be resumed when the swimmer has provided medical clearance.
Parent & Guardian Responsibility
At Platinum Sports, our priority is to provide safe, high-quality swimming lessons. However, the overall responsibility for a child’s safety and well-being rests with the parent or guardian.
Supervision
A parent/guardian (or appointed adult) must remain present at the venue for the duration of the lesson unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Coaches are responsible only during the allocated lesson time. Supervision before and after the lesson is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Punctuality & Preparedness
Swimmers must arrive on time, suitably dressed, and equipped for their lesson.
Coaches are not obliged to extend lessons due to late arrival.
Health & Safety
Parents/guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, learning needs, or additional support requirements prior to lessons commencing.
Swimmers must not attend lessons if they are unwell, contagious, or carrying an injury that could affect their safety or that of others.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring swimmers use appropriate swimwear and equipment.
Behaviour & Conduct
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children behave appropriately in and around the pool area.
Coaches reserve the right to remove a swimmer from the pool if their behaviour poses a risk to themselves, others, or the quality of the lesson.
Photography & Marketing
Photos and videos may be taken during lessons for training or promotional purposes, but never with full names, and always in line with safeguarding guidelines. Parents/guardians may opt out in writing to info@platinumsports.ae or contact +917565643315
Liability & Indemnity
Platinum Sports, its coaches, and staff are not liable for any accidents, injuries, medical conditions, loss, or damages occurring before, during, or after lessons, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
By enrolling, parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Platinum Sports, its directors, coaches, and employees from any claims, legal actions, or expenses arising from participation in swimming lessons.
Participation in swimming lessons is at the swimmer’s own risk, and parents/guardians accept that swimming is a physical activity that carries inherent risks.
